The estate stretches over 365 hectares (902 acres) of woodland at the foot of the Mont Rachas (900m or 2900 ft. in elevation) in the Drome Provencale. Le Poet Laval, is located six kilometers from Dieulefit, which has been appointed with the prestigious honor of being one of the one hundred most beautiful villages of France.

The main buildings, which were at one time a farm and manor house, are located in a bright clearing in the quiet and peaceful heart of the property.

This beautiful and sweet smelling countryside leaves its guests with no other choice but to relax and enjoy the often forgotten values of a simple and slower moving way of life.

Home

The owner of the Domaine de Molans, an engineer and artist has tastefully restored the entire estate, while maintaining the historical nature of the grounds. He is also an active participant in preserving the grounds’ abundant nature as well as shepherding an important reforestation project on the flanks of the Mont Rachas.

The principle building was transformed to hold five guesthouses in which five to eight people can stay.
