The estate stretches over 365 hectares (902 acres) of woodland at the foot of the Mont Rachas (900m or 2900 ft. in elevation) in the Drome Provencale. Le Poet Laval, is located six kilometers from Dieulefit, which has been appointed with the prestigious honor of being one of the one hundred most beautiful villages of France.

The main buildings, which were at one time a farm and manor house, are located in a bright clearing in the quiet and peaceful heart of the property.

The owner of the Domaine de Molans, an engineer and artist has tastefully restored the entire estate, while maintaining the historical nature of the grounds.
